I love the Fall! The beautiful colours, the warmth of a fireplace, the swishing sound of walking through piles of leaves, and the cozy feeling of being bundled up on a cool, crisp Autumn day. But, definitely the changing colours of the leaves are one of the highlights of the year for me. And, of course, I find that the Fall colour palette is what I'm turning to when I am sitting at my torch.
The fall is of course a busy time as well, because it means preparing for various Craft Markets and Art Shows. The fall of 2018 was my first venture into doing these and I really enjoyed it! It was a chance to get out and chat with people at the shows and talk about my passion for glass. I was especially lucky because my husband, Jeff is a great partner in this adventure. I'm already looking forward to the shows for 2019!
I like the look of glass and leather together. And it gives me an opportunity to play with different colours that can provide an accent or contrast to the colours that I use in the glass. Here the soft yellow and brown leather cord provides a warm accent to the colours that I used in this leaf pendent.
